What are research peptides?
Think of them as amino acid chains, typically 2 to 50 residues long. Labs use them to study what happens when specific receptors get switched on — not as treatments, but as tools. You want to understand a pathway, not treat a patient.
Muttenthaler’s team reviewed the peptide drug landscape in 2021 for Nature Reviews Drug Discovery and counted 80-plus approved peptide-based drugs, with another 170-plus still in active clinical trials. That puts the scale of the research field into perspective.
Are research peptides legal to buy in Canada and the US?
Yes, in both countries — for research use. Health Canada and the FDA don’t classify research peptides as prescription drugs or controlled substances. What matters is the intended use. Reviv Peptides sells strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. Not for human consumption. Not for veterinary use. That’s the line.
What purity standards do your peptides meet?
Every lot is independently tested — we don’t rely on manufacturer’s claims. Our standard is >98% purity, verified by HPLC and confirmed with mass spectrometry. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch is available before you order. If you want to see the numbers, they’re right there.
Do I need a prescription?
No. Research peptides for in-vitro lab use aren’t regulated as prescription items in Canada or the US. When you purchase from us, you’re confirming you’re using them in a controlled research environment — not for personal administration.
How do I order?
Visit revivpeptides.com, pick your compounds, add to cart, and check out. You’ll get a confirmation email right away.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, and e-Transfer for Canadian customers. All transactions run through an encrypted payment gateway.
How does shipping work?
We ship out of Vancouver, usually within 1 business day. Everything goes in discreet, unmarked packaging — no product names on the outside. Tracking on every order. Canada typically takes 3 to 7 business days. US orders run 5 to 10 business days.
How do I store peptides when they arrive?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides: store at −20°C. If you’re using them within a few weeks, 4°C is fine. Keep them dark and dry. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 4°C and use within 4 to 6 weeks. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles — every cycle degrades the compound a bit.
What’s your return policy?
Research compounds can’t be returned once shipped — that’s the nature of the product. If something arrives damaged, wrong, or defective, reach out within 48 hours with your order number and we’ll fix it.
How do I contact support?
Through the Contact page. We reply within one business day. Include your order number and a description of the issue and we’ll get back to you faster.
